Prime Line® today announced that it is a proud sponsor of the Bridgeport Chargers,
a member team of the American Youth Football League. Teams are compiled of children
age ranging from 7-14 years old, who all live in the Bridgeport, Stratford and Milford
area.
“We are very excited for this opportunity to be able to give back to our community
while helping to provide local children with a safe and fun extra-curricular activity
such as football,” said Jeff Lederer, Executive Vice President. “The goal of the
American Youth Football League is to have a year-round program for the children,
and we are glad to help them in their efforts to achieve this,” he added.
American Youth Football, established in 1996, is an international youth football
organization established to promote the wholesome development of youth through their
association with adult leaders in the sport of American football. Rules and regulations
are established to ensure that players play in an atmosphere of safety with a competitive
balance between teams. American Youth Football is on a mission to give back to the
community. The NFL recognizes this firm commitment and AYF has been made a national
youth partner of the National Football League.
